A one day retreat for soft, creative humans who care about the world -- and who know we need each other to stay in it.

You like artists. You like activists.

And you know what else you like? ACTIVITIES. Your favorite Carmen Sandiego of a community building performance artist, Siobhán O'Loughlin, has curated an entire day-into-night for you to stay and play as long as you like! With the producing power of Parker Sela and Danielle Cintron combined, these three femmes invite you to share space with fellow empaths. We're not networking. We're not resume sharing. We're meditating, mother fuckers. We're playing GAMES. We're having facilitated conversations, exploring Theatre of the Oppressed, we're hosting happy hour AND a late night sad hour. Drop by for a couple hours, or stick around for the whole day, we’re happy to have you, however you come.

Their Bios

Low key, we don’t care about resumes or accolades around here. But we LOVE further information!

  • Meagan Ayana is a trauma-informed yoga teacher with a teaching style rooted in compassion and empowerment. She guides students through practices that honor the connection between breath and movement, inviting the body and mind into deeper harmony. Her classes go beyond the physical postures, offering opportunities for spiritual exploration through intentional movement, mindfulness, and the subtle wisdom of the breath. By integrating trauma-sensitive principles, she creates a supportive environment where students feel safe to move at their own pace, reclaim their power, and reconnect with their inner selves.

Through gentle flows and grounding stillness, her approach centers on cultivating awareness, self-compassion, and the transformative potential of yoga as a tool for healing and liberation.

  • Brett Jackson is an award-winning designer of games and experiences. When not writing self-aggrandizing bios, he makes interactive attractions for folks like Disney, Universal, Google and Meow Wolf. Though a two-term board director for the Themed Entertainment Association - he's actually very down to Earth. Brett is also President-For-Life of LA's longest-running immersive makers monthly meetup - a social creativity game called Imagi-Ne'er-Do-Wells. Our members meet once a month to invent a new attraction based on a surprise creative prompt and laugh at other weirdos as they attempt to do the same.

  • Noelle Dominique Rodriguez is a vibrant, expressive, playful Xicana and Indigenous artist whose curiosity knows no bounds. Obsessed with clowning, commedia dell'arte, and wordplay, she channels her passion for performance into revitalizing language and culture through dynamic exploration. Drawing inspiration from her East LA roots and ancestral homelands in Mexico and the USA, Noelle is on a continuous journey of learning her native languages and understanding decolonization of herself through theater.

Her transformative work has taken her to London, where she led a powerful Theater of the Oppressed workshop for young women of color, diving deep into identity, intersectionality, and collective hope. She now teaches Voice and Movement at Pepperdine University.

Noelle earned her MFA in Linklater Teaching Practice from Rose Bruford College and is a Designated Linklater Teacher (DLT). She helps actors connect with their bodies, voices, and emotions. Noelle knows theater's transformative power, and is dedicated to creating brave, supportive spaces where individuals can explore their identities, express themselves, and connect with their cultural heritage.

  • Rich is a creator of cryptic mysteries. Puzzles, games, and interactions he’s designed have been played by millions of people on every continent. He’s worked in pen and paper, print media, social media, scavenger hunts, theater productions, popup live events, conventions, web apps, phone apps, and multiple realities, both mixed and virtual. There’s even a puzzle on a wine label, because play should be absolutely everywhere.

  • Megan Allen is a community builder, performer, and creative producer with a background in music, theater, and immersive arts. She’s passionate about curating spaces where people can connect, move, and express themselves freely. Whether through singing, storytelling, or event design, Megan blends artistry and activism to create experiences that celebrate joy, inclusivity, and collective magic.

  • Jordan Ekeroth is a writer and socialist organizer who currently works as Communications Director for a Teamsters Local. He believes that art, honesty, and creativity is an essential component in fighting for a more just world.

Sweet Little Schedule

  • Are you an early riser? Join Siobhán for her signature opening session. A mixture of intention settings, getting to know you games, and welcoming ourselves in. Coffee provided. (duh)

  • In this workshop, you’ll step into Theater of the Oppressed, using play and improvisation to uncover power dynamics and practice new possibilities. Come ready to move, imagine, and co-create change together, where everyone is both storyteller and transformer.

  • A discussion on the intersections between personal creativity and social issues. Artists draw from deep personal inspiration to challenge and entertain audiences, but also wrestle with a responsibility to not retreat from the pressing political issues of the day. Is art inherently political? Can artists change the world? Are we even asking the right questions?

  • Are you ready for healing? Are you ready for an open heart? Meagan will guide you through a gentle 45 minute yoga flow that will help you feel grounded and relaxed. ALL BODIES, all abilities, all levels of experience are welcome and cared for.

  • Welcome to a cooperative storytelling game about community building through the power of language. Look, when the fae get involved in the affairs of humanity, things can change quickly. Together, we’ll tell the story of a society moving forward into a strange and fantastic future. What do we take with us and what do we leave behind? What changes when it is infused with the otherworldly? You and your factions get to decide in this hectic, one-hour event.

  • It’s your time to shine, friends and lovers. Every attendee AND presenter will get a total of five minutes to present a deep dive on any topic they’d like to delve into. We want to know your passions, your hot takes, your unpopular opinion, or honestly — that thing you’re so excited about that we need to know about.

Maybe you think the concept of the film Ratatouille is actually disgusting, because rats should not be in my kitchen, and everyone needs to know. Maybe you still love Sailor Moon because its life lessons are ever lasting. Maybe you think experience designers should NEVER design for each other?!

Whatever you want to talk about — we want to get to know you! Hosted by the extraordinary Brett Jackson, this session is designed to celebrate each other and all of the idiosyncrasies that make our brains so beautiful.

  • This session is a sample of You Are Hear: Megan Allen’s immersive silent disco company.

Join us for an outdoor, roving interactive journey: a blend of music, movement, storytelling, and playful prompts that invite you to drop in, recharge, and connect with yourself and each other. It’s not just a dance, it’s an experience, a reminder that joy is resistance and community is sustenance.

  • If you’re down, we’re down! We have the space all night, and we’ll be vibing and chillin’ and relaxin with bevvies and snacks and conversations and — oh you know, all the best things.

Stay as long as you want. Siobhán is known for closing down the venue herself — we dare you to outpace her.

If the mood strikes, the critically acclaimed “sad hour” might commence. But only if the mood strikes.
